My friend and I had a fresh orange juice and WiFi catch-up inside, while the sun was brutally hot outside. great views of the town square. Ideal place to recharge batteries with coffee and cake if you're in Plzen

Cafe on the main square of Plzen, so nice view of the cathedral. I had a 2 scoop ice cream - tiramissu and chocolate. the chocolate was weird because it seemed to change with every lick. Gorgeous though.

I had the most perfect Koleno (Pig Knee) in this pub. Also, predictably, the pilsner urquell (unfiltered) was perfect...Even if the koleno had been twice as big, I would have ordered another beer and got down to work!

One for the beer lovers - visit the brewery where Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus, and many more Czech beers are produced. There are a few awkward marketing things you have to hear but it's worth it for the trip down the caves for fresh, unpasturized Pilsner
