I had the Nurnberg grilled sausages with sourcraut, mustard and bread. They were perfect, and the mustard is perhaps the most delicious I have ever tasted. All German mustard is great, but i could eat theirs as if it were yoghurt.

Gelateria 4D is a european gelato franchise. The one in Nuremburg is easy to find - it's on the main street in the centre. Nice ice cream, especially the coconut, or the lemon.

Hot summer day - couldn't resist it. they have outside seating as well, but it's so well placed that it's nicer to sit somewhere extra special, as i did - on the bridge by Museumsbrücke.

We found this adorable 14th century bratwurst pub by accident as we came in from the train station. We were determined to taste real nuremberg bratwurst and this seems a great place to sate that need.

Our last meal in Nuremberg was the cheapest - and perhaps the best (on balance)... Just 3 euros for fresh bratwurst sandwich from one of the main street stalls - i assume one of the better ones because it was well staffed and busy.

Lederer Kulturbrauerei

My friend and I found this historic (1468) micro-brewery on our way back from the Nuremberg Trials courtroom museum. In the blazing heat, I drank their home beer while reading. A nice visit for any beer enthusiast.
