The Diana restaurant is a nice treat for anybody making the journey up the hill. The food here is surprisingly good and reasonably priced for Karlovy Vary. I had the Goulash in Bread.

I had the Pilsner Goulash here. My friend had the behemian platter. Both meals were excellent, and of course the Pilsner Urquell beer is always nice. Outside seating if you wish to appear in the background of tourist photos of Švejk. It's very popular.

This place is easy to find in the centre of Karlovy Vary. I walked past it and read "Čevapčiči". I then spent the rest of the day salivating at the prospect of dining there later. It didn't disappoint.

Wow. It's a different(CHEAP!) way to see the glorious 'grand hotel pupp'... Just buy a nice hot chocolate and cake, then excuse yourself to the bathroom and prepare to be amazed by the opulent decor inside.
