This place has some really wacky ideas for their ice cream - and they also have an equally fun selection of cones. I had the pop-corn cone
This was my first meal on arriving in Hong Kong. I was super hungry after long flight, and this was the perfect welcome. One of the very best meals I had in HK
Another cafe from my 'Grand Literary Cafes of Europe book'. I had the mussels in tomato sauce and drank cappuccino. You HAVE TO visit this place while in Barcelona
I really hope you find this place. I had the most delicious 3-piece menu here and a mint lemonade that is simply unbeatable
The best 'Sfogliatelle Frolla' (pastry bun with semolina filling) I had in my Naples holiday was on this charming small island of Procida. Also, their Cappuccino was pretty special too. Try both!
I had the 'frutti di mare spaghetti'. A friendly man on another table had the fried seafood - My spaghetti was so good, I wanted to keep eating, so I also ordered the fried seafood he had. Not a cheap meal, but no regrets!
Another 'Grand Literary Cafe' to add to my list. I did not know about this cafe until I walked past it - a quick Google search tells me it was once the favourite of Oscar Wilde when he lived in Napoli
Arguably the best, but certainly my favourite ice cream in Napoli. All gelato in Napoli is exceptional, but I prefer this one because I could taste the milk clearer than in others.
You have to try the 'Baba Special' - it's a sponge based dessert with cream and berries. I'm not sure what the sauce is, but it tastes alcoholic and mixes in beautifully.
I had 2 scoops - Pistachio and Chocolate. Recommend
Chocolatier in the heart of Napoli - just next to (church) San Francesco da Paola. I had my first taste of Napoli here - an amaretto gelato ball
After a nice walk in and around the Belvedere, it's worthwhile stopping for an Einspanner and light lunch. My friend and I couldn't get enough of the pommes (french fries) here. Yummy
Another grand Viennese coffee house with wonderful cake selection. Dating from 1902, this is another stunning cafe. I only had cake and coffee, but next time I shall have dinner as their food also looked great.
I went here after my Figlmuller schnitzel, as i was looking for something sweet. Cafe Diglas has so many beautiful and tasty cakes, so there is something for all tastes. Coffee is also first class.
Historic Schnitzel restaurant founded by Johann Figlmüller in 1905. There are three in Vienna, but I went to the 'Bäckerstraße'. You will need to book ahead as it is VERY popular, and worth it!
Interesting new cafe with a Japanese tea house theme and interior design.
This is an essential stop for any beer fan. It's the largest beer hall in Munich. It will probably be full, but no problem - there are so many people from all around the world, just squeeze in somewhere.
Great beer in this restaurant. Also, I enjoy the bar snacks, such as their olives and incredible pickled camembert cheese. The perfect partner for their house brews.
Argentinian steak bar. The steak here is really nice and served in a sandwich for 4 euros is the perfect snack.
