I had lots of great ice cream in Annecy, but the one that really knocked me off my feet was the Lavender ice cream from Chez Poustache. I had it with coconut, which worked really well.

Impossible to resist this charming bakery. I had Croissant and Pain au Chocolat. Best croissant of my holiday. oo, almost forgot - I had their tasty eggy olive bread too.

I have seen average reviews for this place, but that's not MY experience. Here, I had mussels, followed by Fois Gras Risotto and creme chartreuse for dessert - faultless throughout.

I could not resist this charming tiny restaurant, especially with outside seats, where I could watch the life and river flow past me. I had the Mushroom Fondue. HEAVY but beautiful.
